Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 ini adalah lanjutan dari Cyberlink PowerDirector 9 yang sudah pernah saya post di sini. Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 ini diklaim lebih baik daripada pendahulunya tersebut. Selain itu, Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 juga diklaim lebih cepat 44 kali daripada software lain yang sejenis.

Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 menggunakan teknologi True Velocity 2nd generation dan menggabungkannya dengan OpenCL yang meningkatkan kemampuan sistem Graphic Processing Unit (GPU). Generasi terbaru H.264 encoder yang dimiliki oleh Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 juga dinyatakan membuatnya lebih cepat 38 persen dalam hal rendering video klip HD 1080 dibandingkan dengan versi sebelumnya. Ini berarti walaupun hardware komputer yang digunakan bukan yang terbaru tapi kecepatan rendering tetap bisa ditingkatkan.
